Fall Festival

The PTA Fall Fest planning committee has been working hard to get everything lined up, but we need volunteers to help the day of the event to make it a success. This year, we are looking for volunteers to help run the activities, collect tickets/check wristbands, donate cakes/desserts for the cake walk, and sign up to get Whipped Cream in the face at one of the booths. This year’s activities will include a pumpkin patch, photo booth, cake walk, balloon artists, face painting, obstacle courses, inflatable slides, hay ride, carnival games, live DJ and more.

We try to plan something for all ages. There will be a Kiddie Area intended for children in first grade and below that is separated from the main area.

No, you’re welcome to walk around or get food from the food  trucks without a wristband or ticket. Wristbands or tickets are only required to participate in activities (typically kids only).

Nearly everything is included ($40+ value). That means your child can go through the inflatable obstacle courses and games as many times as they want, experience a hay ride, compete at the Cake Walk, play any carnival game, get their face painted, and select a balloon animal. Each wristband also lets you pick one pumpkin from the patch!

The Littles Wristband is geared towards younger attendees. The Littles Wristband includes all the activities in the Kiddie Area plus face painting, balloon animals, and a pumpkin from the patch! Littles Wristbands do not include the cake walk, photo booth, and larger inflatable slides and obstacle courses.

Yes, there will be food trucks with dinner, drink, and dessert options. The food vendors do charge (not included with your wristband/tickets), but most donate a portion of their proceeds back to our school.

The Fall Festival is Meiklejohn’s annual community event, and is open to anyone. Invite your neighbors, friends, and extended family to join in on the fun.

No. Please keep an eye on your children during the event and choose a meeting spot in case you get separated.

You can preorder wristbands online at the Meiklejohn Store until September 30. This lets you skip the lines at the event and save $5 per wristband. Preordered wristbands will be sent home in Thursday folders on Oct 2nd. Individual tickets and wristbands can be purchased at the event as well. If you join the PTA at the Pride or Mountain Lion level by September 30th, you will receive 2 free wristbands for this year’s Fall Fest ($50 value).
